Minu: Are you all enjoying this school club event?
Now, we will invite the Community Mapping Club to the stage.
Are you ready?
Nari: Sure. Hello, everyone!
Do you know about “Community Mapping”?
In this activity, we make maps for our community.
It follows four steps.
First, we explore our community.
Second, we find its problems.
Third, we mark them on the map.
Finally, we share solutions.
Siu: Exploring our school was our club’s first project.
We walked around the school for a week.
Jihyeon: Then, we found one big problem.
There was a lot of trash in the hallways, on the stairs, and on the playground.
Ujin: We put red stickers on the places of the map.
In this way, we marked the problems in our school.
Jinsu: For solutions, we shared this map with students and teachers.
There are “No Trash” signs in the places with red stickers now.
Jenny: We shared our stories and photos on social media.
