Korean Teacher: Hello, everyone!
Today, we have a special online class with students from Brazil.
Let’s learn about Brazil from our Brazilian friends.
Do you have any questions?
Seoyeon: Is Brazil a large country?
Rafael: Yes, it is the largest country in South America.
Isabela: We also have the biggest rainforest in the world.
It’s the Amazon Rainforest.
Doyun: How’s the weather in Brazil?
Rafael: It is different across the country.
We’re in Rio de Janeiro.
It’s near the sea.
So, we have warmer winters and cooler summers than Brasilia, the capital city.
Isabela: How’s the weather in Korea?
Doyun: It’s cold now.
This year is colder than last year.
Seoyeon: What’s famous in Rio de Janeiro?
Isabela: The Rio Carnival is the most famous carnival in the world.
There are samba parades, street events, and colorful clothes.
Seoyeon: Do you go there every year?
Isabela: Yes! I enjoy music, dancing, and delicious food there.
Rafael: I also enjoy K-culture festivals.
Doyun: Is there a K-culture festival in Brazil?
Rafael: Yes. K-culture is popular here.
I watched Korean movies and saw taekwondo at the festival.
